Classic food. Mom used to make them when I was a kid. Could eat them with sugar or salt and pepper. Either way, had to have a big pat of butter on top.

Hadn't had them for years and years, and suddenly had to have them.

Help a brother out with some grits recipes!

I think the key is high quality grits. I order them from Amazon, Palmetto Farms. Plenty of other good brands ou there too. Commit to cooking them for 45mins- hr. Can do overnight in slow cooker also.
