I know Cook personally.

Very passionate dude, a Marine and a good leader, but doesn’t always stick to his guns.

He can be an a-hole, but he’s the a-hole you want on your side and I know he would appreciate that comment.

I agree with a lot of what he is saying, but also disagree with a lot of it also.

The very unfortunate part of all this COVID shite is restaurants and bars suffer the worst and while there is help to survive this as a business, minimal help at that when you are forced to close or make a decision to close. As in life there is no one that is going to swoop down and save you.

Cook will survive this as he is a survivor and could get a job at any restaurant in the country or start a new venture doing whatever his passion would be, if Gris Gris will survive this or many, many other restaurants is another story.

In reading about him and having brief conversations at the restaurant, he seems tough to me. I think he’s talented.
