What are some of the most ridiculous things you have seen or have been dumb enough to actually buy?
Recent one for me. 10 oz jar of peanut butter. 10.50 ( price wasn't labeled in the store)
Is it good peanut butter? Sure but not that damn good. Won't buy again out of principle.

Whole foods has baby back ribs for a mere $9.99/lb. An orgasm should come with that price.

Same store I was talking about had kale salad for 9 dollars a pound. Disgusting cheap bullshite salad for that price. Terrible.
Surprisingly not much of a markup on the peanut butter. Same price online.

The only time I've ever felt really dumb for spending what I did was for some grapes at Whole Foods. I went there for something and my wife had requested a bag of grapes. I do know it was a time when grapes weren't doing good or it was a bad season or something, but I ended up paying like $12 for a normal sized bag of grapes.

I keep buying $8 jars of coconut jam. Its Indonesian srikaya and I could make it myself. But I haven’t. It is worth $8, though, cause it’s delicious.

Yeah if it's a specialty product that you like indulge away and treat yourself. I just don't get the marked up stuff that's nothing special

I almost did that once. Grabbed a bag of grapes and went to check out, saw them ring up, and immediately said that she could delete them and put them back. I love me some grapes, but that’s absurd
