Where in Destin? We had a condo down there for about 15 years, right across from the water park.

Ok, are we related?

Possibly....

Like I mentioned, we used to have a condo. It was right by the road on 98 in Destin, and was part of a complex that had two buildings. The other building was by the beach, and this one was by the road with its own pool. We'd usually go rent some chairs for a day or two when we were down there, but since it was a long haul to get down to the beach, crossing a big parking lot, I had an old cheap Igloo cooler on wheels, and I'd pack it full of beer, ice, and food. My dad used to poke fun at us for packing enough food for an army just to go sit on the beach, then inevitably he would walk down and join us at some point, and end up asking if we had any snacks or sandwiches for him.

Each to his own, but the big hit for our family get together is always BLT sandwiches. We show up with a bunch of tomatoes from our garden, and make sandwiches for lunch and supper.

Most of our family doesn't have access to homegrown, so it's kinda a big deal. We'll boil some shrimp and pick up some smoked mullet dip, and it makes for good eating for the entire week.
