Taking a my son & his friend on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Houston to meet some of their favorite Youtubers. Looking to grab a bite afterwards — any suggestions?

If your kid knows how to behave, anywhere.

I don't understand this question if the kid is older than 3

Houston is a big place baw, it would help to know what part of town you are in.

Both my recs are a reasonable distance from there. Not sure where the most kid friend spot in rice village would be

Depending on where in Houston you need to be...

But my kids enjoy sitting outside at Cottonwood. They like the food, foosball table, and being able to pet the dogs.

Meanwhile, they have possibly my favorite burger in Houston, the shrimp poboy is about as legit as any in Texas, and the beer selection is really good.

Eh...half of her top 10 from last year I don’t agree with...and some glaring omissions from the top 100 overall, for me at least.

A good list for visitors to consult no doubt, but not the be all end all, IMO.

We went to House of Pies and they loved it. That Bavarian Banana pie is seriously legit.
