What would the F&D board suggest I try?

We went for lunch and they wanted to know what our reservation was under. we didn't have one, and they seemed hesitant to seat us. Also, no draft beer or coke products. there was a ceasar salad that was pretty good, but other than that...

Let me rephrase, I have a giftcard to the place, so I have to go. What should I get?

Wings,
Burger.

They didn't really screw that up.

Wish I could tell you. I went there a few weeks ago and walked out after waiting for 15 minutes for someone to take my order.

I did get a drink at the bar and heard a few people talking about the wings being very good.

I had the roast chicken, don't get that. My husband had a cobb salad that was good. There was a good sounding banana pudding on the dessert menu but we didn't try it. Urbanspoon has it at 56% likes, so I guess I wasn't the only one disappointed

There was a review on here shortly after it opened saying a couple of the "country" dishes were good. I've never eaten there. . . just had drinks.

Burger is okay. My dad said the wings are awesome. Not sure about anything else though.

See if they have anything with Nutella. I heard that's really good for you.

I got duck wings as an app; probably the best wings I've ever had. Oyster and grits for entree which was decent. Girlfriend got bbq shrimp pasta which was bad. Id probably go back there for a game bc the atmosphere was great. I could definitely order those duck wings and some drinks while watching a game.

Glad you followed up with a review. This is basically what I've heard from several people that have been.

Good question. Only things I can think of are overcooking it or not seasoning it.

It was cooked just right, there just was no seasoning on it. I kid you not when I say those whole chickens at Winn-Dixie/Albertsons/Walmart tasted better.

Glad the OP found something good. If I ever go back, I will try the wings.

Yea I wouldn't go back just for the meal. Definitely to watch a football or basketball game though where I could order an app or two.
