Any Jhaxson, Brayeden, Braxton or Truexton's on the team?

Not sure if you're looking for places for groups or not. That could change my recommendations.
I'm also assuming you're looking for downtown NLR/LR recs.

NLR:

Brood and Barley
Ristorante Capeo
Flyway brewing

LR:
The Root Cafe
Camp Taco
Allsopp & Chapple
Buenos Aires Grill & Cafe
Capital Bar & Grill

Good recs in here. Depending on the size of your party (and average age of your team members) I could steer you towards certain locations on the lists you've been given. BJ's Market Cafe is an excellent breakfast/greasy spoon diner located in NLR. I'll add Raduno (brick oven pizza in downtown LR) to the list of options. If anyone has a sweet tooth there's a ice cream place a block away from Raduno called Loblolly Creamery.

I would add the butcher shop to your list.
Reasonably priced. Unique experience.

Sorry, guys, I should have added:

Ages 55+, no children.

And many thanks for the recs.

With a group that size you'd probably want to look into making a reservation. Most of the places listed are extremely casual but I personally wouldn't go to Capeo or the Capital Bar & Grill in a cap/tennis shoes/directly from a match. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

The club there is great. I would suggest the steak sandwich and...maybe...a steak sandwich. Just charge it to the Underhills

Follow up question. Is there a bar in LR where the LSU fans meet to watch the games? Boudreau's maybe?
