I enjoyed my meal there but can't really remember what I had. I think it was the duck. A must have is the banana brown butter tart for dessert. Best dessert I have ever had in New Orleans.
And if you are going with one other person, they have those tables right on top of each other which I personally do not like.

Jumbo lump crabmeat and watermelon gazpacho for a soup or app is a must IMO.

kurobuta pork belly was excellent, as was the duck. I should have a review in the TD dining guide, if you want to check that out.

Not real "fancy" but it is a nice place. Sort of upscale hip, etc.

Anyway, gnocchi, gumbo, froglegs, shortribs, and any of the fish should be good. Nice wine list and cocktails.

i agree with this (haven't tried the other two); as i say in my dining guide review (you're welcome, chicken), the gumbo is one of the better i've had in a restaurant.

I've eaten lunch there often, but never dinner, and it's always been great.

I was there for lunch Monday.

I had a mixed greens salad with pecan, apple, prosciutto, and a raspberry vinaigrette.

For the entree, I had the fried oysters with homemade cole slaw and roumelade.

Everything was fantastic.
