Godfather's pizza in BR.... IS NOT CLOSED

I noticed in another thread that a few of you thought that it closed. It moved back to its old location, the corner of Jones Creek and Tiger Bend. I do not know if that is a better location, finacially speaking, but I like the old restraunt better.

I like Godfather's, too. It is one of the only "national" chains that I like.

they have awesome pizza or did when I was at LSU, not sure if I had godfathers other than over the old highland coffee or out by broadmoor.

Yes, they do. I was never a big fan of "any" taco pizza, but my wife and sis-in-law love their taco pizza. Although I do not eat it, it looks damn good.

you gotta try it .. if it is the same as the last time i had it .. it really is bad arse .. goes down good with a corona ..

I will admit that it looks good, but I am a strange one when it comes to salad type foods. I hate lettuce, raw tomatoes, and other salad esentials. When I order an actual taco or burrito, I make it simple: meat, cheese, and beans. Burgers are the same way: ketchup, mustard, pickles, cheese, maybe bacon, or crispy onion petals(bbq sauce possibly)...
Back to Godfather's, I like their "meats" thin crust pizza...

I miss that location. We used to go eat pizza there when I was in high school and then go to movies right by campus.

i remember the campus location .. right on the corner of chimes and highland on top of the old american bank ..

i think they used to stay open late too .. i remember getting tanked at the library (the bar on chimes street) and then sobering up with a taco pizza ..

yes new location is much smaller then one by walmart.we went and it was slow the night we went to new location.no tv on wall either.

I just ate lunch there about 30 min ago...there is a TV on the wall now...

same here.. although I doubt you will see me there again...paying almost $10.00 for that pizza buffet is a tad pricey IMO...
