I reviewed Bay Leaf. However, i think in the restaurant description it should be changed to upscale casual and the average entree price is around $17

i agree with this. you get a lunch buffet and a drink there, you are pushing 20 bucks after tip.

not a complaint. you get what you pay for imo, but its just at a higher price point.

You need to add Johnny's Pizza to the Baton Rouge list. I give it 5 stars.

why is almost every restaurant listed as "casual dining"? This needs to be changed. Little Village for example..

For Baton Rouge, we have:
* Fine Dining (4)
* Upscale Casual Dining (15)
* Casual Dining (239)
* Sandwich Shop/Deli (20)

For New Orleans, we have:
* Fine Dining (34)
* Upscale Casual Dining (81)
* Casual Dining (449)
* Sandwich Shop/Deli (32)

A vast majority of restaurants will be casual dining. What do you suggest we change Little Village to? Is it upscale casual?

looks like there are two Little Villages...both the same atmosphere?

what about Gino's and Bistro 225? upscale casual too?

I can't see too many other places being considered more than "casual" in BR...let me know what others may be considered...

Both little villages are about the same atmosphere. Ginos is considered casual fine dining. Never been to 225 bistro.

Haven't dined there, but in NO, there is a new restaurant in the Bourbon Orleans called Roux on Orleans. The exec chef is Guy Sockrider who was the exec chef at Muriel's for a few years. FYI, Chicken.

I thought that I did a review on Ruffino's a couple of days ago, but I don't see it. Am I nucking futz or what?

ETA: Never mind, I see it now...I guess you have to review the review before putting it on Geaux.com to make sure that hot-headed and mentally challenged posters like myself don't misrepresent a place by simply talking about whether are not the waitresses are hot or not.

I gotta tell though, the waitresses at Ruffino's were not that hot on the night that I went, and I was a little disappointed that there was not an AYCE buffet like there is at Ryan's for only $10.99 per person.
