Roberts Kenilworth is running $3.99 Wagyu briskets right now. I just ran a search and read the thread from a couple of weeks ago where someone picked one up from Costco for $4 and some change.

Has anyone else tried these? How do they compare with a Prime cut?

If it’s really wagyu it’s better than prime...a good bit better.

3.99 is a damn good price

"wagyu" means nothing anymore so i wouldn't get your hopes up. Any restaurant, butcher, grocery store, etc can just call a cut of beef "Wagyu."

Its a crossbreed with American Angus. They are allowed to call it Wagyu i guess. I guarantee they arent shipping it from Japan and charging that price.

Go get a couple of these bad boys. I cook a brisket every five or six weeks and the wagyu I got from Costco was worth every penny.
