Slap ya Mama is probably one of my favorite seasonings to use for crawfish boils. I only use it for one batch usually because it's just too pricey to buy enough for multiple batches. I don't live in LA, but there are a few places that sell it here, however it's almost $20 for a bag. Even in LA, I usually see it for at least $10 a bag, usually closer to $15. I found a great deal at cajunwholesale.com. You have to pay shipping, but it's worth it if you buy in bulk.

Is chackbay better than Louisiana?

That's great! However, this isn't a "what's your favorite seafood boil seasoning" thread. I'm just passing along the info in case fellow posters here prefer SYM.

Why not just buy a bottle of WowWee as opposed to the dipping cups?
