Ohhh okay.
Well my best friend just started working at Dempsey's and she said they're hiring (Jefferson). There are some plusses: closed on Sunday, close at 9PM, etc.
But a job like that is just hard for me with the dog, my schedule, travel, etc.
I'll keep it in mind though. If I worked in any restaurant, that seems like a nice laid back one to work in.

I've been considering taking up a PT job for some extra income, I already work a FT job though and I have a dog at home to consider.. he already doesn't get to go outside for the entire duration I'm at work some days. Plus I don't really like the restaurant industry. But it would make a nice way to meet new people since most of my friends have moved away.

Kinda the same way I feel. I don't have a FT job though. My job only schedules me 3-4 days a week for 3 hours at a time. But the work I do can be done in 1-2 hours so I end up leaving early. I really need something to do the other days of the week and possibly in the afternoons after my current job.
A restaurant is hard because my ideal house are 1 or 2 pm til 6ish on the days I work my current job. No restaurant needs someone during those times
Working at night isn't something I would be against, but my dog is home all day and I'd feel horrible being gone all night too. She is my responsibility and I can't just ditch her.

Thing is I can pay all of my bills and have spending money already, but it'd be cool to have a PT to be able to buy things I want, like a new guitar amp, video games, etc. But the prospect of working 12+ hours a day is a little frightening. The job I currently have doesn't really wear me out though, I just sit here all day.

Yeah I feel ya. It's hard. I want to be able to save money and not live paycheck to paycheck like I do now.. but I am the type of person who values time more than money.
Brag is the opposite. He thinks I should work every single day as much as possible to get as much money as possible. But I'm the type that would prefer to not have as much money and get more downtime.

There's a term for that:
LAZY!
Posted on 6/14/11 at 2:37 pm to RummelTiger
But at least I'm not lazy and saying I should have lots of money!
I'm a fulltime student when it's not summertime. I think getting 2 or 3 jobs right now when I start school in 2 months is silly.
1 job, maybe 2 if I can find the right one, is plenty.
