I liked going to the one on Siegen Lane with my wife while we were both students at LSU. I thought the food was pretty good and we went about once a month, though we definitely preferred Canes and Chick fil A. They don’t have them in New York where I live. What are the board’s thoughts?

Good smash burger. Good dog. Good fries. I’m a fan.

Had one for the first time last week and thought it was awesome. Their skinny french fries are also legit

I feel guilty driving by Whataburger every time I go but I find myself doing it more and more. The crispy edges on the burger are so damn good.

It’s good, but it’s no Shake Shack

Whataburger is about as good as a burger from 7/11 convenience store. One of the more overrated places brought up on these boards.

The crispy edges are definitely great!

The closest Freddy’s to me is in Philly unfortunately

That may be the reason. All the drunks know where they can get a 3am burger...

I stopped in there about a year ago and tried it. It was okay, but I'm not crazy about the thin patties. I'd rather a single thicker patty than a couple thin ones.

If you enjoy frozen custard, their concretes are awesome.

Althought Im not sure if their concretes are actually frozen custard; but nonetheless, they have the consistency of frozen custard.

Burgers are good, fries are good, and hotdogs are solid. It’s a good place, but the wait is a while. But they are the closest thing to not being a fast food place. They cook everything to order, so if you can understand why the drive-through takes so long and have patience, it’s a helluva place.

The one in Lafayette is disgusting on the inside.

Like Freddy’s a lot. It has grown on me. Sprinkle a little extra fry seasoning on everything FTW. They keep the fry seasoning shakers where you pick up your order. And the shakes and concretes always deliver.

I think Freddy’s and Mooyah have the best taste/flavor of anyone in that category in BR.

Do they have some type of special sauce that tastes good? Or am I imagining it? It's been over a year since I last went.

Which one? Probably became that way when you walked inside.

I get the burger lettuce wraps. It's pretty good but nothing super special.
