I'm not a fan, due to the simple fact the meat patty is too thin, and cooked well-done. Not my favorite style of burger, but to each his own.

I prefer a thick patty cooked medium/medium rare.

Surprisingly good. I ate at an In-N-Out burger before and it's honestly not quite as good as Freddy's, though a couple dollars cheaper.

Whataburger is about as good as a burger from 7/11 convenience store. One of the more overrated places brought up on these boards.

Whataburger is of the same fast food genre as McD, BK, Wendy’s, Sonic and Checkers. So if I’m on the road wanting to go through a drivethru and burger is my choice, I’m picking Whataburger every damn time.

It’s not overrated. It’s the best amongst that group, by a mile. Anyone who says different though have their toungue cut out.

I think Wendy's burgers are slightly better, but Whataburger's customer service is vastly superior, and, it is open 24 hours.

Freddy's is a step above both, but also a slight step up in price as well.

To me, Freddy’s is in that same style as Five Guys and Smash, and others where you’ve usually got a longer wait and a few bucks uptick in price. That group inbetween McD and Bugersmith/Ground Patti.

Agreed. I like the patty's and sauce better at Freddy's, but the fries and toppings options better at Five Guys.

Went once. Very mediocre. Probably won’t go back.

Reading the thread I got the reminder of the fries. I appreciate that. Definitely not going back. I can get better fries to go with tiny patties lots of places.
