Considering going to Fort Worth for a concert in mid August. Will be flying in Saturday morning and out Sunday afternoon. What is a good dinner spot and brunch spot I can hit while I am there? TIA

My recommendation for a good steak is Del Frisco’s Double Eagle in FW. Not sure how far away you’d be tho…

I second Del's. I also enjoy Bella West but that's kind of a local thing, it's not on anybody's "DFW awesome food list". Also don't sleep on Taco heads for a quick meal and beer.

As for brunch, I love the Buttermilk Cafe on the way to the airport. It's a dive with a great CFS.

Lately, the wife and I have enjoyed Walloon's Restaurant. Also, Joe T Garcia's in the Stockyards is one of our favorites.

Joe T Garcia's is worth it for the atmosphere and margaritas. It has the coolest patio area of any restaurant I've been to.

This. The patio is nice for a drink but go eat elsewhere. It has been owned by a family forever but is being sold to a corporate outfit.

Los Asaderos and Los Paisanos are just down the street and much better food wise.

We think it is for tourists.
