Wife and I will be in Fort Worth area this weekend. Looking for a nice place to eat tomorrow night. We will be dressed fairly casual as we plan on going somewhere to watch the LSU game following dinner.

Don't tell anyone this but Lonsome Dove , stockyards is a must. Tim Love chef,

Is that place frowned upon for some reason?

Make sure to top off your gas tank at every station you see in DFW

Facebook told me its smart to do that

Second on Lonesome Dove.

Bonnell's for game and beef (I-20 at Bryant Irvin)

Ellerbe on Magnolia.

Clay Pigeon on White Settlement.

Then you have your usual suspects downtown:

Del Friscos
Capital Grille
Ruth's Chris
Del Friscos Grille

Have fun!

Panny gave you a very good list to research.

I will add Reata as an option. Have drinks at the rooftop bar before dinner. Nice place with a "Fort Worth" feel.

You will fit in wearing jeans and a collared shirt anywhere in Fort Worth.

I second Reata. We had the best waiter ever there. Food was great, drinks were great, and it was pretty casual. Plus Sundance square is a cool area.

I agree with the Lonesome Dove. We had two great meals there, but that was under the previous chef, the one who is taking over La Provence.
