Keurig folks:
I have been mildly distressed that the K-Cups are not recyclable and found out about a product called Brew & Save. It is one where you use your own coffee in the Keurig system.
I used to have one that Keurig made and I found it to be lacking. This one, that I bought as a 2 pack at Kroger worked great. I bought some Seattle's Best Dark Roast and it made a nice full cup of coffee.
The thing was $14.99.

K-cups are the biggest ripoff out there. You'll save alot of money doing it that way.

Someone told me that some of the K cups now come with a removable mesh bag inside, so you can cut off the lid, remove the coffee bag, and recycle the plastic.
I use the regular kind. I usually cut them open and dump, the grounds in flowerbeds or the compost pile. Toss the plastic in the landfill.

I bought a french press and use the keurig as a hot water heater. my fiance uses the machine as intended, but I drink about 24 oz of black coffee a day. The K cups just arent strong enough or cost effective enough for me any more.

Just get a real coffee maker.

The OP was for people that like the Keurig.
I have a "real"coffee maker and I have a french press. I use them both at appropriate times. A single cup on my way out the door or a single cup of decaf in the evening are not those times.
The commentary is
We've heard it 100 times.
