I've never been, but I pass the McComb, Mississippi location about once a month. I'm always looking for a better and more affordable option to the Cane's model. How does H.M. compare? I see they have many other options on their menu, but I am only interested in their chicken fingers, fries, and toast.
What say you, Food board???

Live in Florida and they have them here it is comparable to Cane's it is just the cookie cutter chicken fingers, fries, toast and coleslaw with a version of Cane's sauce. There is also another chain here called Zaxby's which is also in the same niche.
I haven't had Cane's in over a decade so comparing them is not something I can do accurately but from best of memory they are close. Huey Magoo does have a range of options from the fried/grilled strips with a variety of saucing options as well as sandwiches and salads.
Last time I went I think a 3 piece meal was around $8 but who knows what the current price is with inflation running rampant.

We've had Zaxby's for 7+ years here, as well. They are complete garbage. I don't think Cane's is great, but it's fine dining compared to Zaxby's.
If H.M. is similar in taste and quality to Zaxby's, I will pass.
Anyone else think these two taste very similar?

I’ve eaten at the Huey Magoo’s in McComb several times. It is better than Zaxby’s, but not as good as Cane’s. Unlike Cane’s and Zaxby’s, Huey Magoo’s does serve grilled tenders (which is usually what I get).

My kids call it Yucky McYuckys haha. The batter is bland and doesn’t have much flavor. There is a Zaxby’s just across the street and a new Chick FIL a at the next exit. Somehow they are always busy though. Not many choices around here.

The Mexican place across the street is pretty good.

T soup…yep it is. If you come through get off at the mall and try Guapos. It’s next to Arby’s . Good little Mexican place and super nice people.

We hit it sometime on the way to the camp. I like it better than Canes. Canes sauce is better but the finger I prefer at HM.
