Wow, that's high.
Sam's Club here in GA is $18/# for Choice and $25/# for Prime Angus.

Costco has whole prime tenderloins, but I'm not sure of the price lately.

That isn’t too bad for individual steaks. The two places I shop are $29.99 and $35..99.

JFC where are y'all shopping at? I have noticed about a 25-30% increas in weekly groceries but nothing like $25/lb filets. I was just at Kroger in Dallas and they were selling massive filets for $13.99/lb.

Individual filets for $13.99/lb is insanely low. Like hard to believe low.

Sam's Club here
Last few times I went to my local Sam's I noticed they changed the signage of the "prime" meat. No longer appears labeled as usda prime. Instead meat they are marketing as members mark prime, which I suspect is some sort of private label or something different.

Paid $18.99/lb at Publix for well trimmed 1.5” cuts today.

Costco’s meat is blade tenderized. That’s a problem for me.
Can’t cook that shite less than a safe internal temp or risk food poisoning.

My problem with costco is you have to buy 4 at a time. This is no big deal, but they always put one or two bad steaks in the pack. When I say say bad I mean steaks I would never choose from the block if buying individually.

Hmmm...that's not cool. I know my local Sam's still has them labeled USDA Prime as of a couple weeks ago but will definitely start making sure that sticker is on there in the future.

Sams will do the same. 4 steaks but one is always super small and sometimes 2 are small.

Every year during the holidays, I'll get an entire beef tenderloin from Costco. Around $80 - $100, but wow it is definitely worth it.
