I was just buying stuff at oak point in watson.

Old woman in front of me was buying turkey wings, 12 bunhes of collard greens, white beans and stuff for cornbread

I said.. dang yall eating a good meal.

She then gave me her address off whitley lane and wanted me to come get a plate and visit.

Thats small town stuff we should go back to with cooking

My late grandmother taught me 2 things in life: Treat people how you wish to be treated and go out of your way to compliment a complete stranger and put a smile on their face. Deep down inside, you never know what someone is struggling with

Well, this lady put a smile on my face. She actually meant it.

Im sure it would be the best smothered turkey wings I ever had.
