Had another great biscuit at butter punk in River Arts District this morning. A very cool area. Weather is cooperating.

New Belgium and Sierra Nevada today

had one of the best meals of our lives at neng jr’s in west Asheville last night. If you’re going to be in town try and get a seat, it’s extraordinary

river arts district yesterday was a lot of fun, and we stopped for a while at new belgium, very nice.

two Asheville meals to report, farm burger which was mediocre and Rosetta’s which was terrific. Phenomenal billy strings show last night and an even better after show by shadowgrass at the orange peel. Last show of the run tonight with shadowgrass again afterwards. Weather today is spectacular…sunny and much warmer. Asheville is hopping this weekend

Blind Pig

What did you order? What time of day did you go? I love that place (for casual).

It's a shame you missed Seabear, the undisputed greatest restaurant in Athens.

just had beers at blind pig. We did not really make our best dining effort in Athens as we were out very late each night and slept in. We will be back

couple of addendum reviews

we made little effort to dine well in Nashville it was very cold and windy and we were running on fumes after almost 3 weeks on the road. It was all we could do to get to the shows. But…

in Chattanooga on our last night we ate at a great ramen place called Attack of the Tatsu, very very good and cheap as shite. One of the best meals of the trip. And on the drive home today we stopped in Birmingham and had lunch at a Greek diner called Tasty Town, outstanding food and service. Their pita bread is fantastic and the meats and veggies we had were delicious. Highly recommend both

They got their shite together again? They are inconsistent as frick. It can be good or terrible.
