I’ve also been really digging Mary Taylor selections lately. Affordable wines that seek to be typical representation of say Bordeaux or Beaujolais, produced with care and attention. Great labels as well. Seek them out.

I'm cracking open 2 bottles of Kirkland's finest Vacqueray for the family.

That’s a great choice. Some of the Kirkland wines are killer

Seeing a lot of buzz this year for a “Beaujolais Nouveau” made by Division in Washington state in the Yakima Valley. Called Nouveau Nouveau, Washington grown Gamay done in the Nouveau style.

Seeing at a lot of wine shops and people are saying for a BN it’s pretty excellent. I think I’m going to get a bottle. Looks like it’s 25 bucks which is pricey for a BN

Since my surname is Austrian I always like to bring a Gruner. For reds I like Zins and Pinots. My wife's family, God Bless them, are mostly beer guzzling Philistines but will still expect me to bring wine and will drink it. I have to bring $10 bottles for them, and hide the good stuff for me and a select few who know to ask me what I am drinking.

I have never had a bad Kermit Lynch wine. I almost seek out Kermit and Louis/Dressner wines exclusively as daily drinkers as they all really tickle my fancy

Long Meadow makes a nice wine, especially for the price in Napa.

Good place to eat too.

Yeah, that is usually to me the best choice. Pinot works too but I prefer Gamay for thanksgiving

Was at Costco, they had their Gigondas for 14 dollars which to me is such an incredible value. Also had Villa Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva for 25. Got both bottles.

Amevive is a newer label. Winemaker was at our local shop a couple weeks ago. Really like the GSM and Albariño and decided to pick up the Gamay for Thanksgiving. I was told it’s her (winemaker) favorite.
