Haven't opened them yet, but I've got a bomber of moylan's kilt lifter and moylan's Irish red. Then I'll be at my friend's place who has a kegerator with bandit blonde ale and I'm not sure what else on tap.

You should listen. Do not fear it.

SBD was a NOLA Brown at Mellow Mushroom.

Hop burn is a good beer. The label is awesome though.

Yep a pretty cool label for sure.
Pretty good beer too.

Why don't they make any cheep 6 packs or 4 packs of sours?

$22 4-pack of duchesse is a little ridiculous.

. They take time and dedicated equipment. Cant do anything other than sours in sour brewing equipment. Need wood barrels and aging plus blending in some. Ever seen a cheap barrel aged beer?

FBD: High & Mighty Beer of the Gods - Eh, nothing special. It was lacking an identity. No bold flavors to speak of and the hops were really hard to find.

SBD: Stone/NOLA Pour Me Something Mistah - So Avenue Pub is apparently getting kegs of this on an every day basis. I ordered it at the same time as my FBD and drank my FBD for about 25 minutes letting the PMSMistah warm up. Enjoyed it a little better the second time as I didn't drink half of it cold. Still slightly lacking something I can't quite put my finger on. Perhaps it's too dry. Hard to quantify what exactly this beer is. Is it a black IPA? an Imperial Stout? a porter? Whatever you call it, it's pretty damn good.
