thanks for reposting. are Toronado and Magnolia walking distance or trolley distance from the Wharf?
You can take a bus to either of those places relatively easy.
I assume you have a smartphone? I also assume you mean Fisherman's Wharf. If so, then use the Google maps app and select public transportation. Once you get to Market street via the F Line trolley car, you can just take the J or the N to get to walking distance from Toronado. There are a few options to get to Magnolia, which is worth the trip. When going out we will normally take public transportation OUT and then taxi home. Feel free to holler at me with any questions.

FBW: Homebrewed Oktoberfest. Been sick until today and also finally got my CO2 tank refilled. Been homebrewless for the past couple of weeks.

Tbd another hp 70. Great nose. Strong piney hops. Very bitter but I likey. Finish is a little boring but I can get over that. Really like this one. I put it next to 65 as my favorites.

what other beers should I seek out at pubs in SF that I can't get here in TX? They have Heady Topper or Surly anywhere up there?
I will agree with Dean and say AleSmith, Port Brewing, Lost Abbey, and Firestone Walker.
FBD is 1835 Texas Bourbon

I've only had 66-70, but 70 is by far the best one I've had. Got one waiting on me at home. Won't be long now!

SBD, in honor of tetu, is a Berliner Weisse 1809. Not my favorite style of beer, but very nice.
