I hope they own the building..... Could've bought it for 150k 15 years ago. Lots of our favorite spots are in the same position. But I think most own their buildings. Sadly, a fixture in our hood down on corner has a for sale sign out front. It's a residence and the guy is a quirky sob. I talked to him a while back. Code enforcement has come down on him and I see them there every day. He told me 2 guys pulled up a year ago, jumped him and broke his leg. This is after he refuses a developers offer. Cops showed up harassing him after that. He filed a complaint and that's when the full force of the city and thugs In cars came down on him. Hurray for Democracy.
