There's a cut directly to Santa Rosa over the small mountain btw Napa and Sonoma Valleys. CA 12, I think. May be 20-30 minutes. Get a growler to bring back.

Also consider going to Lagunitas brewpub in Petaluma, a little south of Santa Rosa. Beer is great there too.

That's a growler I bought at the Lagunitas Brewpub in Petaluma.

I left it in the redneck coozie for effect, and to keep it cold on the drive home.

Yeah, Russian river has the traditional round growler but Lagunitas uses that style.

They have some taproom only stuff that is killer. They wouldn't put it in the growler though.

This thread disgust me, really, beer before 10am, Boo? Wow, y'all get a sneaux day and instead of meditating and reflecting on your life y'all drink beer, I fear for your souls. Really, who drinks on a weekday like this.

I know 4miles is equally disgusted.

Just put all the stuff in the stock to simmer for a while and then retest for seasoning after a beer.

True dat, Lagunitas tap room really surprised me.

There's a cool little beer store called Beer Craft in Rohnert Park between Russian River and Lagunitas. I talked to the owners about beer for about 30 minutes and they hooked me up. They pulled a couple limited beers from the back and then packed it all up in a shipping box for me...it helps that I spent $250
