Good times for Texas Mavens

Found out the guy running the local homebrew club is opening a brewery in town. Very exciting.

Yea, this was actually something really random.

I came home to a loud, metallic humming sound emanating from the unit. Immediately turned it off and it wouldn't come back on. Called an AC guy to look at it. Turns out the blower wheel had fallen from the shaft. Took the guy about 30 minutes to fix it and make the blower work again. $85, not bad. But I have to wait for ice to melt before attempting to run it again.

Hope it works.

That's not too bad. You find a good A/C person?

Start up will be:
Blonde Ale
Blonde Ale (fruit added) maybe
Pale Ale
A pine hopped ipa

I think they are leaning towards Belgian influences, so maybe using Belgian yeast?

Stop by and have a beer on your way through sometime
