Further research is needed for me to make a determination.... I didn't think it was terrible but something tasted a little off.

You doing anything tailgating this weekend?

I have to disagree. It isn't the best DIPA, but I could see drinking it time to time.

No tailgating because I live so close to The Box. I will be drinking beer at home before the games. You are welcome to come by and have a beer at some point.

No problem. You like what you like, but I don't care for Mecha.

FBD North Coast Le Merle. Not bad, first time drinking it.

I haven't had Mecha Hop in the can yet, but I will soon. When it first came out about a year ago I thought it was way too bitter. But it seems to have improved the last few times. I'm curious to see what's it like out of a can.

FBD- Ballast Point Dorado. Grabbed the last one off the shelf at Specs last weekend and I'm glad I did. This is awesome. I've had Sculpin before but this is the first time I've had this.

Maybe only BD but today has been brutal so I may need a 2nd.

I have to agree I was excited when it was released, but being in Texas at the time I had to wait a few months to try it and was slightly disappointed. I can that my criticisms are similar to others in it being just a hop bomb.

Dorado is way better than Sculpin IMHO.

It is still way too bitter IMO and I am a hophead. I love DIPAs, but Mecha has none of the wonderful fragrant floral nose and little of the citrus flavors that the good ones have. It is just bitter hops start to finish.

If it makes you feel better, his price isn't bad for the Supplication. It's just an expensive beer.

Every month I write to order Pliny, and every month I don't send it
