I still like a couple of Abita's offerings, which is certainly unpopular on this board.

I'm not an Abita fan, but I do want to try their Pecan Harvest.

A buddy brought over a 6 pack yesterday and I'm wondering how long the remaining bottles will sit in my fridge. IMO, one of the worst offerings by Abita.

There is definitely a bottle variation with Endeavor bombers. The last few I've had have been great though.

Are you in Tennessee?

If so, y'all just started getting Southern Tier and y'all have Yazoo which is a much better local/regional beer than Abita.

Damn, really? I like Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan so I was hoping Abita's would be similar.

I'll drink a Turbodog or Andygator if my only other choices are BMC stuff, but they are mediocre at best IMO.

The guy at the beer store mentioned something about an Abita Pumpkin coming out next week. Anyone hear anything?

I checked on their site and it didn't say anything about a Pumpkin. Maybe he was mistaken?

No, I'm in Mississippi. My latest bounty has come from Tupelo. (wife and I had a wreck yesterday and she's in the hospital here). Haven't seen any Yazoo, which surprises me. Sixth BD is a Traquair Jacobite Ale. Freaking awesome.

Sorry to hear but glad she's fine. You can find yazoo at fresh market or probably Kroger or mcdade's.

I am following the 2 beers during the week rule tonight and shutting it down. I guess I'd be drinking more if my wife was in the hospital.

My two Margs got me to a .06. Not bad. I'll be heading to watch the rest of the game in bed soon.
