I'm ready, and so are the Ragin Cajuns.
3BD: Karbach Weisse Versa
4BD: Dale's Pale Ale
5BD: Hop Delusion
I'm ready for this weekend. Our team has already exceeded expectations by far, so this is just fun stuff.

SBD is a lost continent DIPA from the Grand Teton Brewing Company. Good. Not great

Fbd
Wasn't enjoying it so I made a cocktail, as suggested on the bottle.
Jameson, simple syrup, and NB Pear Ginger.
Not enjoying this either, though that is not as explicitly NB's fault.
May just tetu and start my night of drinking over with something better.

FBD is a FW Wookey Jack. First time trying this. Bottled 2/5/15, so it's at the end of the brewery's 120 day recommended shelf life. The nose is faint, but the rye and hops are still there on the palate. Excellent beer at 4 months, but would love to try one of these fresh.

I went to specs houston (smith st), specs Galveston and central market. All had DJ. 90% was brewed in 2014. Saw a couple February ones. Sad it's a shelf turd

I don't get it. Fresh DJ is a great DIPA.

That's surprising. Picked up this Wookey Jack less than a month ago at a Spec's near The Woodlands. I thought they were pretty good with rotating out their outdated stock. My fault for not drinking it right after buying. No Double Jack at that store. Picked up a 6 of Union Jack.

Nah, the fresh stuff is gone within a couple days on smith street. Not sure why those particular bottles got skipped over, but I've asked a guy about fresh dates and he told me when it hits the shelves really fresh, it's gone almost immediately.
