FBD: Hopitoulas. First time seeing this in ttown and had to give it a try. Pretty good IPA

Ya know I gotta say, the more I drink Hopitoulas the more I don't really care for it. I think it's cognitive dissonance that keeps me buying it, because I really want it to be a great beer.

I wish it was a little better myself. It is pretty good, but it lacks the hop aromatics that you find in the great IPAs. It is a solid option when there is not a great selection, but I rarely buy it for home consumption.

I found myself saying this after all of the NOLA beers. Never did like Hopitoulis, brown is the only one that I would have again

I don't know if yall have Total Wine stores in LA, but they have the Beer Advocate scores on the price tags where the beer is lined and I find myself scoffing at 80s scores, even though I've never tasted the beer. Shame on me, I know.

FBD - Abita Spring IPA on the Bulldog patio. Was my first time having it. It's much better than Jockamo, but it's still meh.
SBD - NOLA Irish Channel Stout
3BD - Had a taste of BMoney's Against the Grain's "Bo and Luke" Damn delicious.
4BD & 5BD - Dos Equis Amber at dinner.

Trying to figure out what I want to drink now. Might switch to bourbon.

FBD - Abita Strawberry

I'm sticking with this tonight because all bets are off this weekend.

I'm visiting Old Pogue craft distillery and Buffalo Trace tomorrow before hanging out in downtown Lexington tomorrow night. Then on Sunday I'm off to Makers Mark, Four Roses, and another craft distillery. And I somehow talked a buddy into driving the entire trip. Good times ahead!
