Mediocre. You can do better. Allagash makes killer beers. C'mon, son.

Yeah, unfortunately I probably won't get any, but we'll see. It's dumb that they wait until Friday morning to do these beer releases, but whatever works for them.

The local HEB is usually good about getting special releases too, but never heard anything from them on Twitter this week about it.

It's not bad as a wit, but...it's a wit. Honestly, I had it back in January when I was in NC. I feel ya.

Still just a wit. But don't let it influence your opinion of Allagash as a brewery. They really do make awesome beer. Their year round stuff is largely styles I don't love, but their seasonals, limiteds, and especially the stuff they put in barrels all tend to be outstanding. But also a little expensive.

I like it, chocolate really comes through and just enough heat on the back end without being over powering. I've had a few chilI beers that were really over powering and it took away a lot from the beer itself. This one is balanced to me at least

I thought the cinnamon overpowered everything else in the bottled version. On draft, the chocolate came through. I have a couple more bottles to try. Maybe I got a bad one first time.
