Is there a safer way to transport beer from one city to another when you are flying, besides wrapping it up inside your check bag and crossing your fingers?

Less worried about cans, as I've done that successfully, but I don't want to limit myself.

And related, what canned beers should I look to bring back from Tampa next week. Wiltz?

Apparently Laffy Whole Foods will have 16 taps of beer and 3 taps of wine.
I thought the Law wouldn't allow that??

Maybe city ordinance will? Red, White and Brew does it.

I do this ALL the time after my texas trips…never had a single issue. I've transported up to 18 beers back…only issue is you're limited to 50 pounds of weight unless you wanna pay out the arse but then you may as just well buy it online.

Wrap em up good. I used 1 bottle per tshirt or 2 bottles per shorts or jeans.

I've always just taken a towel or two from the hotel when I brought things back.

If I'm over 50lbs I box the beer up and ship the beer back to myself from a local fedex kinkos.

I usually box it up anyways, and then check the box. One time, I packed everything in two coolers and checked the coolers. Those damn things weighed over 75 lbs. a piece and they didn't say a word. I wouldn't try this unless you have Diamond status, though (or whatever the hell the equivalent is with other airlines).

Most airlines will check a box, so i go to the local liquor store and ask for a wine case box. Add some bubble wrap and peanuts if possible, then check like its regular luggage.

I think my record is 30 something bottles/cans in my bag. Was a very nervous flight home
