Couple of pre-race beers at the Silver Dollar Salloon in Leadville.

Alaskan Amber, which was decent. Then an Odell 5 Barrell pale ale which was really nice. That's it until after the race tomorrow.

There ain't much air up here at 10,000 feet. There's even less at 13,200 feet. Gonna be a tough one.

I'm heading over to Jacksonville in a few weeks to visit family and have a trip to Total Wine planned. I hope they carry Bells two hearted. I need to see what all this fuss is about

Ive never had the rogue juniper pale but after trying sahtea on tap a couple times and enjoying it i may pick one up next time i see it.

I don't think there is a more complete American IPA out there. Wonderful citrus/grapefruit nose, great mouthfeel with a nice hoppy bite, yet not overpowering. Seriously complex with 7% ABV and yet relatively light in body.
