I've been wanting a bottle. Massachusetts is good for some things.
It's shitty for bourbon/whiskey. I've made a few contacts here and when I asked about the Owl I was pretty much laughed at. Hurt my feelings. I like me a good rye. Apparently we are highly allocated here. Frustrating.

Smooth as a baby's arse for 110 proof. Nothing really jumps out and makes me say wow, but it has the classic spice chars of a high quality rye and very solid.
I don't think it's quite worth the price tag ($129 at my nearby, slightly over priced store), but it's worth at least one buy to see if your opinion varies.

I've seen it go for buy it now prices around like $160-180 secondary. I was hesitant. I guess I'll wait until I go home in February and see what Avenue Pub has. Oh well.
