Hardcore IPA is a good one.

4BD is a Left Hand Fade to Black Volume 3. This is the pepper porter. Really nice spicy kick to it. I like this one.

Reached for that on the store shelf today. Then my "cheap arse" alarm went off. I blew air out of my nose and walked on.

It isn't comparable in price to the Acme IPA?

The brew dog was $8 for a 22oz bomber. Acme was $11 for a sixer (72 oz)......I mean most people would be well chuffed at $11 for a six pack.

Ok, I got out my calculator damnit.
22oz bomber @ $8 = .36/ oz.
4 pack (48oz) @ $14 = .29/ oz.
Acme 6 pack (72 oz) @ $11 = .15/ oz.

ACME IS 1/2 THE PRICE OF BREWDOG =.

I'm just saying, Bewdog and Mikkeler stuff still stops me in my tracks when I look at the price. Their stuff is good but not any better than cheaper stuff. At least in my mind. But I did spend $7 on an 11oz bottle of Rochefort 10 the other day....(.63 / oz.) .

Don't forget to incorporate the different ABV's. I think Acme is around 6.5% vs. Hardcore's 9%. That changes the analysis a bit.

I love it.

My other beers of the night were Monks cafe, sorachi ace mikkeller and a hop burn Low.

Also had some good Black IPAs and a really interesting coffee stout homebrew.
