I'd be excited for Timber Beast now. I think it has been at least two years since I saw it on draft or in stores fresh.

Yeah, I know, its been awhile. But, since I have the time today and most of you losers can't pick a decent beer to save you, I'm going to help you out. It is Christmas afterall. I don't think this beer has made it into Louisiana yet, but it probably will be soon. Yazoo brewing is out of Nashville and they got to Mississippi about 3 or 4 months ago. The owner is a MS guy and I know him. That doesn't mean I'm pimping his stuff because I know him. He makes several beers that I don't care for. But, this one is nice. And as the name suggests, it's an ever evolving project. The recipe changes with every batch and if you go to their website, you can get the hop recipe for each batch. It's a solid IPA, especially for a Southern brewery. I can't get enough of it. If you find some of it, buy it.

The dogfish head thread is an interesting read, Zap. Looks like mavenry was alive even back then.

I don't know about that.

But I wonder what ever happened to Dallas Tiger. He seemed like a real whacko.
