Like a fine gueuze, with a little more citrus, and more sour. Very good. Don't know what it is about spontaneous fermentation that translated to flavor profile, but it was definitely very reminiscent of a lambic.

Good deal. Good for them. Had two Old fashioners in the 4th quarter to insure that I could go to bed regardless of the outcome.

Dammit I'll miss college football once it's gone for the season!

I hate when that happens.

I tried to get two, but only ended up with one. There still should be plenty out there. It was a 12 bottle limit per day and hoarders gonna hoard. I'll definitely be after the next batch.

NBD - Laurelwood Workhorse IPA while at the Blazers game. I was happy that I could find a good beer at the game. They had 5/6 local brewers represented at the game, although the most prominent one was Widmer. Pyramid, Laurelwood, Portland, and Bridgeport were there. As was Goose Island's standard Honkers Ale, 312, and IPA. Not bad a bad selection, overall. I would have picked some different local brews, but glad I didn't have to settle for BMC.

I'm a fan of Laurelwood, so I went with that.

Evening fellas. Restless, can't sleep. Just poured a stiff glass of Four Roses.

Not sure on the legality of this FBD, haven't been to bed yet and about to enjoy a pancake breakfast next to a fresh fire.

You're doing it right. If you were having waffles then you could started a new thread.

I know I can't maintain a proper FBD thread so I have the common decency not to start a new one.

The breakfast will contain thick cut bacon as well.

This. But pancakes are acceptable in circumstances such as this when the quality beer makes up for it.

Nice work. I've had, and quite liked, most of those.
