McMenamins is a Portland institution. They probably have 30+ locations in Portland. All unique, and many of them are brewpubs. Not a typical chain, as each one is unique, and many are in historical buildings (schools, churches, theatres, farms, etc.) that have been restored to period. Some are breweries, a couple have distilleries, a number of them are hotels, as well. Unique concept. Their beer is a mixed bag, depending on the brewer at a given location. I do like their Billy Whiskey, which is distilled at their Cornelius Pass Roadhouse location, which a few FBDers have been to.

The McMenamin Brothers, along with the Widmer Brothers were instrumental in starting the Oregon beer revolution, so I will always support their business.

FBD’s were a couple of Accumulation White IPAs, next up is a Purse Candy from Eureka Heights - one of their test batches. Tastes like a strawberry hard candy:
