What did you think? I thought the Faro was sugar overload, almost undrinkable.

I like that one.

TBD is a Unibroue La Fin du Monde.

Yep, way sweet. A bit much.

SBD was a To Øl/Mikkeller Sleep Over Coffee IIPA

FBD is a 2007 Pannepot from De Struise. Excellent.

These De Struise beers have yet to disappoint. They immediately become one of the most complex and interesting beers I've had.

No beer tonight. Recovering from 5 days of beering it up in Colorado.

But my entire haul made it back intact.

What a sad sad FBD. Everyone must have been recovering yesterday.

My Final Beers of the day were Canebrake at The Cove and a taste or two of the To Øl Final Frontier DIPA

Yes, my liver needed a break. Yesterday morning was kind of rough after Sunday night's 14BD.

Yesterday's tally:

FBD: Southampton Double White - not bad at all.
SBD: NOLA Hurricane Saison - always good.
3BD: Spaten Optimator - also always good, nice to try it again.
4BD: Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle IPA - good flavor to this one. Have a few more cans to share.

Yea, that was a weak effort. I shut it down after TBD. I did need a little recovery time from Sunday evening's festivities, but most of it was just being exhausted from running yesterday afternoon. This heat is eating me up this year much more than it used to.

This was one of my Go-to beers when I first started drinking craft/import beers.

went by the local mcdades to see what beers i could score. came back with some bombers (abita abbey ale, double dog, andygator, SOS, rogue john john, and double rogue). still no timberbeast yet. everywhere has been sold out. i'm gonna try to grab some 3 floyds while going through KY. is there anything else to be on the look-out for?
