F&SBD:

Framboise was meh. Guy at bar suggested it but it wasn't anything special.

Weisenbock was ok but it was supposed to have coffee elements which I never tasted.

Yep. Started the transition last year. Turned it over to Forge this year. I will be heavily involved, likely with the timing and the start/finish aid station.

Cool, I'll pass that info along to some people who were a bit nervous about a "new" group taking over the race. I thought Forge was a sponsor for the 1st year but I didn't run last year and didn't pay attention to any of that.

Forge planning about to happen for our March 50K. Pulling out the trail maps and we are headed up to Clear Springs on Saturday for trail running and biking and to confirm the course(s) we've planned out.

I will be heavily involved in Cajun Coyote planning and work. The previous race director flew in from California each year to put it on. Now that he's found someone to turn it over to, he's comfortable. You'll notice no change.

Hope you bring many people to run it. This should be the biggest field yet.

FBD is lagunitas sucks. preparing to teach a bible study next week, beer always helps.

This one tastes pretty good. I tried to drink one when I had the flu and my taste buds were bizzaro. had to tetu it as it tasted like I imagine aluminum melted down would taste. anyway, tastes buds back in better shape and this one is a decent little number.

I've liked all the Lagunitas stuff that I've tried. Their Maximus IPA is very nice

Agree, it's pretty good but not great. I like other beers from them more...

I like it better than their IPA, but then again I'm not enamored with most of their stuff...solid but not spectacular. if they were a local brewery I would support them more for sure.
