NBD Bishop's 13. Bourbon Barrel Quad and it's really really good. Saints dominating, Bucs losing, Falcons in danger, my pick'em potentially flawless, my survivor opponents potentially going down, fantasy team on fire, chili cookin, peanuts finished great, jambalaya started. All is well. Who dat!! [/img]

Jax will have to answer that for us. I am thinking they do it as a joke.

Wax on a bottle offers extra protection to keep the air out of the bottles that are meant for aging. Everyone hates the wax, though. Cans, are sealed better than bottles, and don't need the wax. The guys at ABV did it as a joke.

They were hoping that the wax top would pop off and could be used as a coaster, but it's not flat enough. They probably won't do it again. The said it was a real pain in the arse.

Craft beer drinkers have good senses of humor when compared with bud/Miller/Coors drinkers

I had reasonable success yesterday with the chickens and ribs. I am going to fire it up again next weekend. The smoker itself is great. I was impressed with its quality and ease of use. I need to figure out how to use the Maverick wireless thermometer so I can try a brisket or pork shoulder next.

NBD not bad for a Bud. Working on my first ever creole (red) jambalaya. Being from around the Jambalaya capital, this was considered blasphemy when I was coming up. I spent two years eating in the ULL cafeteria, and the red Jambalaya was one of my favorites.
