So far they've had Preach, Jucifer, 4x Envie, DISH Opus, Envie, and DDH Modillion and everything has been well received

That was my FBD too. I didnt like it nearly as much as the regular sculpin. I typically dont drink during the week unless it was a rough day. Today was a rough day.

FBD unfiltered Sculpin at Nobi in Clear Lake

4miles should have given you contact info for the Houston krewe. Some of us weren't far from Nobi tonight getting a private tour of Vallenson's Brewing that just opened in Pearland. We would have invited you along.

I'm actually amazed at how much Russian River is on the shelf

Where are you? (I don't believe you.) I live in California and the only Russian River beer I have ever seen where you could just walk in and grab one is Pliny the Elder. And even those type of places are very rare.

Portland, Supplication and Sanctification are of plenty here
Just walked out of a brew pub and they had 10 of each on the shelf

I find that hard to believe and impressive at the same time. Ultimately I'll just choose to believe you. I live about 50 yards from Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach and they keep inventory of Russian River bottles. I still stand by my original statement though....in general it's not that easy to find Russian River bottles.

Temptation, Consecration, and Supplication are pretty easy to find here. Ironically, Pliny is not available in bottles. A few places carry it on tap, but bottles are almost non-existent in Portland.
