And I've got a Sister in Chicago and haven't received a thing. How hard is that kind of stuff to find up there?

As with anywhere, I think you have to hit the right places.

TBD is a Goose Island Pere Jacques 2012. Ruby colored Belgian dubbel style. Fruity with a dry finish. Probably would have been better had I let it age longer.

So since I'm not having a FBD tonight I think I'll reminisce about some of the beers I had in SD last week...

Let's go with the Rayon Vert from Green Flash. I think this could easily be in the rotation when Green Flash comes to LA later this year. I think even non-sour-beer-lovers will enjoy this one and it could even be a gateway beer to become a member of an awesome club I find myself in.

Plus I really like the name and it ties everything together nicely.

I've only had a couple of their beers, but the two I've had were fantastic. Their Grand Cru won't win any label design awards, but it tastes like heaven.

SBD was a Tin Roof Blonde at the Box. Back home and TBD is a Goose Island Matilda. Again, thanks to ut.

I definitely had Hop head red and palate wrecker on the trip. Don't remember where I had them specifically though.
