3BD is a Cask Yellow Rose at the new local watering hole, good, but casked IPAs aren't my favorite:

I am not a fan of the on cask thing in general.

3BD is an Envie.

I've had cask stuff that is better than the regular beer. That St. Arnold reserve 12 or 13 that's was the Belgian quad is one. On cask it approached Westy quality. But American IPAs don't belong on cask.

I've never been a huge Belgian fan. I came up when every brewery was making a shitty IPA (Hopitulas, Elissa). Now with the hop revolution I've come full circle on preferring dry hopped pale ales (what's the difference between that and an IPA??) to the malt overload.

Anyway next up is a Luponic Distortion 003 with some wings. Beautiful night in Houston:

Now a B52 Double IPL, interesting. Tastes like Conroe:

I was a Hop head first but have evolved to being a complete and superior maven.....I like everything except lagers.

I haven't had as many as you, but I've never had one that I thought was better than the regular beer.

Next up is an Axis IPA by Real Ale. It was a good FBD last week, but lost in the pallet tonight:

Same here. I've already been out to The Box to watch a scrimmage. LSU should be strong again next season. How about the Cajuns?

Contemplating one last beer o the day.

I'm thinking we should be pretty darn good. Had a pretty young team that didn't quite live up to expectations in the Regional. Then again, the team we lost to got to the CWS Championship game.

4BD is more Albequerque hops.
