FBD - You know what today is...

That day where you maybe have a beer earlier than usual just because and maybe because it's cold AF outside.
FBD is an Epic Brainless...belgian ale with peaches aged in French oak. Tasty, and hides the 11% very well.
(Are we still saying "AF"?)

FBD folks, I would like to branch out from my stouts and porters and try some sours for the first time. Could I inquire, from those of you who like them, about some of y'alls favorites currently available? TIA
ETA: available in Texas

I know they sold out
but I like every wicked weed sour I've tasted.
Also like Grimm sours

Blue Owl out of Austin does good stuff that is widely available. Their Spirit Animal is a sour pale ale that isn't too tart and a good entry level sour.

FBD is an LA Brut after getting off work - prepping for the Pel’s game tonight!

2BD is an Anderson Valley Nitro Chai Solstice.
Has clove, cardamom, and vanilla. Interesting. Only $3 so why not?

Thanks guys. Appreciate it.
If you want to work your way in with a really approachable and tasty sour, I'd strongly suggest Westbrook Gose.

Real Ale fruited gose and Raspberry AF are pretty good starters available in the Houston area. Won’t make your butthole pucker or give you heartburn

SBD thanks to curds. Still not sure if I'm a fan of this style yet, but this is better than the first I tried from turning point.

I’ve picked up a few sours from Odell’s Brewery that are in 12 oz bottles which is nice to try out as opposed to a bomber. Specs and HEB

Pics when you're done. Etouffee is my favorite.

Kids are both back to college. I’m recovering nicely from last night in this big empty house.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
