SBD is the first carbed sample of a by-the-book saison I made for a mardi gras party. Not bad. Could have been fermented a little warmer, but it will please the non-maven masses...I hope.

Shoot me an email at tdnoodz@yahoo.com, I can pass it on so he doesn't have to post his name again.

ETA - 8thyear, no worries. If you're interested, just let me know. More than anything, I just want the prestige of saying I have a beer that made it in to 8thyear's cellar...j/k

Ironically, I've never actually received any TD noodz on that account. Just correspondence with FBDers.

Kind of the opposite of yellowfin's. I'm sure he's received lots of non-chubby-chicks of the OT on his.

Brian Black at FR is married to an LSU girl and Chris knows me by name and always shoots the shite with me but alas, it ain't enough to get me a pty keg or growler. Honestly it's way overrated. I like Blind Pig the best out of all their ipas and think Hop Venom if better than all of em.

It's very good but the hype is what causes people to judge it harshly. And I agree that Blind Pig is awesome but haven't tried Hop Venom.

Damn that Pipeworks sounds good

Two of my favorite beers from last year were CCB Life is like and 110k Batch 6...that sounds like it's similar minus the barrel aging.

ETA - thanks to tetu for sharing both of those CCB beers btw

Have you tried Sticky Hands? I love Hop Venom And Notorious, but Sticky Hands is my favorite (original recipe). Let me know if you want to try it.

I think Boneyard's 1,2,3 punch of RPM, Hop Venom, and Notorious will rival RR's lineup...

A month ago or two months from now I might have been jealous, but it's been 73 and sunny all this week. I have no more longing for cold weather until mid-August.

The Life is Like was up there with the best beer I had last year. Very memorable.

Don't feel like going back through, but just in case it wasn't mentioned, dates are now on Parish Bottles. At least Ghost has it
