Meh.
It’s a solid NEIPA and I cant see where you really fault it outside of maybe some room for more intense hop flavor. Nothing ground-breaking, but definitely great. And after looking up the description, this is a fantastic hop/grain combo.
SBD was Batch 03 of Jucee. It’s good, not great. Alright overall hop quality, but a touch muted, imo. I definitely think the US for FBD was superior...
TBD is some Congress Street my Dad brought back from Boston a week ago while cooking up some Leto stir-fry. Fresh and absolutely fantastic. Shows what some boosted hopping rates will do to something like the US Goose beer. Just takes everything to another level. DDH Galaxy anything is going to be great, but when you know what you’re doing with grain bills and water chem, it’s hard to fricking beat. Super complex tropical hop notes with dank resins as well. Extremely appealing passionfruit nose that follows through into the taste. Dense hop flavor that is neither too bitter nor too spicy. I’m pretty much writing a review on the movie Titanic in 2019, but it still holds true — this beer FUCCS.
