Need some recs for downtown minneapolis. I'm looking for a place I can find surly on tap downtown if possibe and other good beers. Any suggestions? I know the physical France 44 store is there but not sure how far away from dt.

Never been to Minneapolis - maybe somebody here can help you out, otherwise check out what Yelp or BA recommends around where you're staying.

Nah, Snooty Cooter. Haven't figured out this next one yet. I'll wait. First photo was nondescript.
We need Wise. He is the GOAT at this game.

SBD
I think I overlook this one too much because it's local, but man it always impresses me.

Thanks Ro. Hoping to find somewhere fairly close by and accessible through skyway. Too damn cold there.

Yeah Wise always comes through in the clutch. He's the Robert Horry of the FBD krewe.

Hopefully you were smart and met your wife before you moved to Colorado. From the few times I've been up there it seems of the very few women even around, most are absolute dogs.
yea she is from baton rouge. We used to use the term Colorado fine, you settle when it comes to womenz in the mtns.

Go to Butcher and the Boar, Ryno. I don't know if they'll have Abrasive, but it's worth the visit anyway.

Thanks baw. Been a while since I've been down there . I think I went to a place called Britts pub with a lawn bowling pitch on the roof last time I was there several years ago in the spring.

I was there for one night about two years ago. Almost everyone said that was the place to go for my one night in town. It didn't dissapooint. The pork chop and desserts were spot on and the beer lineup was nice.
I just looked at thier beer menu and they had a couple Surly beers on there. No Abrasive, but they had Furious.

Yea I'm not going to be eating there. We have corporate meals planned already.

Had a taste of one tonight, finished a keg off apparently. Was tasting good though.
Wise should know the place I stopped in, but I would doubt he has been in.
LBD was a Guiness. Probably a week until I revist the poison.

I've liked everything I've had so far. Their PA and IPA were both quality and this graham cracker stout is really nice, especially after warming up a bit. We moved in this past weekend. We're in west midtown - near Howell Mill & 14th. I love the neighborhood. Holler at me when you get back in town we'll have a couple beers.
Very nice, that's a great neighborhood and one that I lived in for the last 6 or so years. I'm living right by Virginia highlands now but I'm always over that way.
Let me see if I still got your #

I think Divine Reserve 15 is just a hair overcarbed for my palate. Otherwise it's good.
ETA Oh, and towards the bottom of the class the nose took on a very boozy characteristic. But flavor was there.

Very cool. Was just over that way for a Super Bowl party this weekend. Cool part of town.
